Some of my friends refer to me as an Oreo. I can’t stand it. The way I sound and speak comes from a family that knew how to raise me. I listen to rock & alternative as much as hip-hop and rap, but doesn’t change the fact that I’m black. I’ve been profiled before not because of my personality, but my skin.
